Firefox has similar problems unless using IE Tab (for me at least) so at work I just switch between the two. Would be great to see an IE rendering plug-in.

Palin is much too attractive a target...that's the problem. She's doing a pretty good job of either being dismissed by those who pay attention, or relentlessly ridiculed by TV personalities. There is a small percentage of the general population who are blind enough to buy into all of it without an ounce of critical thought, but nothing will sway them so they aren't worth the trouble. The only people left of sway are those who are still sold on McCain but not necessarily Palin. So the only person the Democrats can target, without coming off as complete and utter assholes, is McCain.

I bet smart guys you could make a killing buying financial stocks while people are scared. It's not like there's a real problem. You're guaranteed to make money!
