Nothing's stopping you from reading a book and writing your own OS if you dislike Windows so much. Do you think the first programmers bitched all day about how sucky their OS's were? No, if they didn't work as expected, they got to work and made their own. I can almost guarantee you even if you don't like reading you can find a course at your local community college that deals with how to program operating systems; it's a requirement for most CS majors. You can even audit the class for FREE if you don't want a degree. Stop being lazy.
