So, when you are on the moon and take a picture, stars won't show in the background as it's 'too bright' there. But, they take a picture of the sun and there it is..... stars in the background, even one shining through the actual flare. Someone got an explanation for this?

OOXML uses such a binary implementation of XML that it's no where near vendor neutral and it shouldn't be approved due to that fact alone. Also, Microsoft's methods, in their drive for approval, have been somewhat dubious overall. And ISO's approval of the standard should definitely be challenged.
