I think you are misunderstanding the venusproject and what the intent of the film is. We wont be making that transition for years if ever but it certainly is an intelligent alternative to the future of mankind by not doing anything. This empire will come down if not by the people waking up and changing it while we can then by economic, or environmental collapse. Or by war from within and from outside our country. Do you think an advanced civilization exists in the universe that has lasted by being parasites on its planet and population? If there is such a case its probably a very evil and nomadic society.
