thanks for the nytimes link--pretty cool feature they got there. search the timeline for uses of 'maverick' and 'mavericks' and you see that palin used it 6 times, while biden used it 9 times (to say mccain is NOT a maverick, of course). i wouldn't have thought biden topped the maverick count. each one of palin's lame 'maverick' droppings just makes me roll my eyes.
