Ultimately it's up to the teams to spend within their means. If you stop them spending money on engine development, they'll spend it elsewhere, just because they can, because it's the nature of the business. One of the worst aspects of F1 finance is Bernie Ecclestone taking 50% of the revenues, and charging them ridiculous fees to compete.

Is it just me, or was that a terrible article. it sounds as if they just played around with the G1 and the Tube for a couple of minutes at some trade show/press conference (why else would they not have had a chance to try out the location features?). It's hardly a fair comparison. Out of the three, you know that the sluggish S60 is going to make it a frustrating experience day to day, but that's something they haven't really factored in. This is like reviewing a movie after seeing the trailer.
The main problem with a meritocracy is that you can't trust intelligent people to look out for other people; Your degree of intelligence has no impact upon your compassion for your fellow man.
