Exactly the sort of perspective we need to put this election in. The presidency will not determine which party still exists on Nov 5 or take away the people that voted the other way on Nov 4. Our different views on things will continue, but as always, we'll have to work together to continue America's legacy of greatness. As a Republican, I can gladly affirm this (and just for the record, I disagree with the middle of your post :P ).
