IMO XBMC just feels like its an app made by geeks for geeks. Boxee has much the same features as XBMC (and can share plugins), but it has a certain amount of sophistication and intuitiveness which I think makes it more suitable for mainstream users. If nothing else, the GUI is really pretty in a way XBMC just aint.

I agree, I'll admit the game library is a bit thin, but as a media center, there is nothing better. I can stream files from my comp flawlessly including HD content, and even the upscaled DVDs look great on the ps3.
