I think the Zeitgeist films do a decent job pointing out that there is something fundamentally wrong with our core belief paradigms - be they religious, economic or civic. But beyond raising the question of "why isn't this ***** working like they said it would?" I don't see much value in the work. In this film the "economy of resources" advocates unlimited technological progress in a limited resource world. This is blind faith in human innovation. It simply replaces our current blind faith in the "free market". Shrouded in buzzwords like "sustainability" - this really the same ideological crap Industrialists have been pedaling for generations.

Of course, "Wildlife Conservation" as done by the government means stealing people's lands because there's some type of "endangered" bird there. It's evil so it must be one of Cheney's priority.

This is how the states will lose what little remaining independence they have from Washington... a bailout loan with strings attached. The states were foolish enough to allow the Federal Reserve to print money.. this puts the state governments in the same situation as all businesses and individuals... their money can be devalued out from under them and the economies can be destroyed first by inflation and then by deflation.
