I watched the debate and after a few minutes of listening to "you betcha" Palin, Shirley Temple in "The Good Ship Lollypop" came to mind. But.....Shirley was only 5 or 6 yrs. old. I don't blame Palin for her ignorance, I blame John McCain for choosing her. Maybe I look for conspiracies where there are none but when McCain threw her out there the first thing I thought was - 'token woman'. What a cavalier attitude John boy has toward this country. He is almost at the end of his natural life span, does he think it would be one big old joke if something happened to him and we were all at the mercy of Soccer mom Sarah and Joe sixpack????? That in itself would prompt me to vote for Obama even if I couldn't find one single other reason.
