I agree about crime should be punished, hell... I also support the death penalty and think one appeal is all you get... but some food for thought on the "3 strikes" laws... a friend of ours has two sons, one is a worthless criminal who needs to be in jail the other committed one crime when he was 21 or so, he and some friend of his broke into a shed and stole 3 lawnmowers, he was caught and they charged him with a separate count for each mower, under Florida's then 3 strike rule he is now serving life... there ain't no justice in the world lol...

Is there a Guitar Rig equivalent for linux? I have played with Aurdor and it is pretty decent- got it to work well with a standard M-audio Firewire setup, but I would need a good guitar emulator to start using it for real. lotus flower in tattoo design

I don't want anyone like me to be VP or President. I want someone who knows the issues top to bottom, can stay calm in a national emergency, and who has the intellectual capacity to know how their decisions will affect the nation on all different levels. I don't have those capabilities, most people don't, and Sarah Palin sure doesn't. It's ok to pick people who may be smarter than us to be our leaders. Clinton was a Rhodes Scholar, Bush was an idiot. Just compare those two Presidencies. Obama wants to help the country. We need someone with his intellectual capacity to do it. If only most Americans had the intellectual capacity to realize that. Maybe they do, the polls are looking good.

Nothing miraculous about it. The 'Silent Majority' speak loud and clear on election day. Oh, and we have friends who build voting machines. Never underestimate the usefulness of that. Not to mention a Supreme Court that will overturn whatever challenges are made after the election. It's a humble system, but it works.

How can I buy some stock in it? I think I see a good medical application with a small amount of tweaking.
